We’re in the final stretch of tax season in Canada. If you haven’t filed yet, it’s a good time to get it wrapped up and out of the way!
Quick reminders before you submit:
Make sure you’ve got all your slips (T4, T5, etc.)
Don’t forget basic deductions you might qualify for
Filing sooner = refund sooner (if you’re owed one)
🌱 Spring Home Reset
Now that winter is finally loosening its grip, it’s time for a quick reset!
Swap to summer tires: once temps are consistently mild; don’t forget to check your insurance policy to confirm approved switch dates
Walk your driveway: check for cracks; use crack filler where needed
First lawn pass: rake dead spots; over-seed and apply fertilizer if needed
BBQ check: fire it up early; clean grates and test everything is working
Eavestroughs: clean them out; make sure downspouts are properly extended away from the house
Why it matters:
Small fixes now are the difference between a quick weekend job and a “why is this suddenly expensive?” surprise later!
